I have desires, that's no question But I am tired, and I'm grown There's sexual, then there's starvation I'm coming home I've taken walks through the meadow I've had my talks with ancient oaks I've touched myself and thought about it And I've been known Something told me "there's a life outside the lines that we can read" This voice that summoned softly from a well inside of me I have walked this road alone in my struggles to be free Here I am, in no mans land You come to me in the morning Before I open my eyes We talk about all creation Awake, alive Something told me "there's a life outside the lines that we can read" This voice that summoned softly from a well inside of me Ive walked this road alone in my struggles to be free Here I am Ooooooh walked this road alone in my struggles to be free I have desires, that's no question But I am tired, and I'm grown There's sexual, then there's salvation I'm coming home Something told me "there's a life outside the lines that we can read" This voice that summoned softly from a well inside of me "There's a fire burning bright out there for every living thing The only choice you got is either burn out or believe" Ive walked this road alone in my struggles to be free Here I am in no man's land

Slow Burn 03:35
We've got a long way to go Done it all wrong Feeling is not gone away The future is gone The band keeps on playing like the ship isn't sinking No rescue coming, lord what were we thinking Spinning around, a change in the weather Water levels rising, extreme fucking measures Was a slow burn and now it's a blaze And the whole world going up in flames In flames Palms to the sky Deny deny Too late pray for rain Too late to give it a name The band keeps on playing like the ship isn't sinking No rescue coming, Lord what were we thinking Spinning around, a change in the weather Water levels rising, extreme fucking measures Was a slow burn and now it's a blaze And the whole world going up in flames It was a slow burn and now it's a blaze And the whole world going up in flames Slow burn Slow burn Slow burn Slow burn Slow burn Slow burn Slow burn

The Road 02:55
Take up my time It's alright, I'll be fine I've made up my mind I'll be fine, it's alright Why do you make me come for you? Show yourself to the door that you just walked yourself into I want to believe in your rock and roll Hands off the wheel, eyes on the road Ding, ding dong ditch Life's a bitch, then you die Bait, bait and switch Can't get a read on you, babe Why do you make me come for you? Show yourself to the door that you just walked yourself into I want to believe in your rock and roll Hands off the wheel, eyes on the road Why do you make me come for you? Show yourself to the door that you just walked yourself into I want to believe in your rock and roll Hands off the wheel, hands off the wheel Hands off the wheel, eyes on the road

What A World 03:37
You really had it all planned out The way you'd hoped the chips would fall They come along and shut it down Left you nowhere else to go When you thought you finally found The proper way the picture flipped around Unwanted, uninvited but a reasonable time to figure out What a life What a time What a world Unordinary in-between And the days just feel like weeks And every night trying not to drink To make the most of everything Yes its hard, this sitting still But it forces us to get back to the real What a life What a time What a world Ooooooooh What a world we've all been living in and its time to break the chain We've been wrapped around and tethered in and there's no one left to blame What a life What a time What a life What a time What a life What a time What a world

Lullaby 03:05
It's hard to feel the infinite When I feel so definite Weighed down by my body all the time All the time These heavy thoughts envelope me Taking up my energy Making it so hard to be alive Alive Everyone I know is sitting on the same ticking time bomb Trying not to let it explode Day by day were waitin for anything to hold on Open up and let it all go Every day's a spinning plate Inconsistent choices made How much more of this shit can we take Everyone I know is sitting on the same ticking time bomb Trying not to let it explode Day by day were waiting for anything to hold on Open up and let it all go It feels like we'll make it to the other side Deep down we know it's gonna be alright It's time to let in the light Lullaby

Ooooh Too long to let you go It's been one of those years where our losses and gains Feel like they're fighting for first place Things becoming clear, the moon waxes and wanes It's hard to keep up the pace Oh the seasons change, we shift the blame to whichever planet's retrograde And I need you here cause I don't want to be scared, I don't want to lose what finally Came I waited for your love I've waited for your love I waited for your love Too long to let you go I waited for your love I've waited for your love I've waited for your love Too long to let you go It's not that nothing bad will never happen It's that it doesn't matter either way Lately I've been driven by distraction Anything to make it through the day But there's nothing I could do To make this wrong or right It's the thought of losing you That keeps me up at night And I've waited for your love I've waited for your love I've waited for your love too long to let you go I've waited for your love I've waited for your love I've waited for your love Too long to let you go Too long to let you go And I've waited for Too long to let you go Oh Oh Too long to let you go Oh Oh Too long to let you go Oh Oh Too long to let you go Oh Oh Too long to let you go

about

No Man's Land is written from the perspective of someone who's spent life pulled between their many desires and paths. Throughout the six tracks, we grapples with these dueling selves and the question of how much power we have over the arc of our lives. As one reckons vulnerably with their own existential crises, the conviction to meet these fears head-on imbues these songs with something of an outlaw sensibility.
Through accepting powerlessness, No Man's Land speaks also to a certain kind of hope, an inner knowing, a faith in inexplicable magic, the serendipities that come to define us, and the meaning that emerges when we allow ourselves to question deeply.
